BREAKING: Aliko Dangote retires as Dangote Cement chairman to focus on refinery business
Dangote Cement says Aliko Dangote, its majority shareholder and founder, has retired as the chairman of the cement manufacturer.
In a statement on Friday, signed by Anthony Chiejina, the company’s group chief, branding and communications officer, Dangote Cement said the businessman relinquished the position to focus on Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
