Hon. Ogunmolasuyi Condoles With APC Family Over Tragic Death of Ifon Ward Chairman

The Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, has expressed deep sorrow and profound condolences following the brutal killing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Ward Chairman in Ifon, Ose Local Government Area.

Hon. Ogunmolasuyi condemned the barbaric act and described the fallen ward chairman as a committed party loyalist, community leader, and true democrat who had worked diligently for the progress of the APC and the peace of his community. “This is a tragic loss not only for the APC family in Ose LGA but for all who believe in grassroots democracy, peace, and community development,” Hon. Ogunmolasuyi said. “The late chairman was known for his loyalty, dedication, and unshakable commitment to party unity and social harmony. His untimely death is a painful reminder of the escalating insecurity that must be addressed with urgency.”

While commending Hon. Olayato Aribo, Ondo State Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, for raising the alarm and calling for immediate attention to the security challenges in Ose LGA, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi urged the government and relevant security agencies to intensify efforts in protecting lives and property across the state, especially in vulnerable communities.

“The people of Ifon and the larger Ose Local Government deserve to live without fear. The safety of our grassroots leaders and citizens must be prioritized. I join my voice with that of Hon. Olayato Aribo and other well-meaning leaders to demand justice and sustainable solutions to this lingering insecurity.”

Hon. Ogunmolasuyi also extended his condolences to the immediate family of the deceased, the APC leadership in Ifon, and all party members across Ondo State. He prayed for strength, comfort, and healing for the bereaved community. “This is a moment of mourning, reflection, and resolve. May the soul of our departed brother rest in perfect peace, and may his death not be in vain,” he concluded.
