Independence Day: Chief Ogundare Calls for Collective Responsibility in Nation Building

As Nigeria marks her 64th Independence Day, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, the founder of The Ogundare’s Foundation and a prominent chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has urged all Nigerians to embrace collective responsibility in building the nation.

Speaking during the Independence Day celebration, Chief Ogundare emphasized the need for every citizen to actively contribute to the development and progress of the country.

In his address, Chief Ogundare highlighted the importance of unity, service, and dedication to the nation’s well-being. He called on individuals to recognize that the true essence of freedom lies in their ability to uplift and empower their communities. “As we celebrate Nigeria’s independence, let us remember that true freedom lies in the hands of those who uplift their communities. Together, we can build a nation where every citizen thrives, through unity, service, and unwavering commitment to progress,” he stated.

The APC chieftain also underscored the role of leadership in shaping the nation’s future. He encouraged political leaders, corporate entities, and ordinary citizens alike to work together towards a shared vision of national prosperity. According to Chief Ogundare, fostering a culture of collective responsibility and active participation is key to achieving sustainable growth and addressing the challenges facing Nigeria.

Chief Ogundare further prayed for the peace, unity and well being of Nigeria, emphasizing that nation-building is a shared task, requiring the involvement of every Nigerian, regardless of their background or political affiliation.
