Ondo State Government Reaffirms Commitment to Community Development as Hon. Wellington Adebawo Chairs Isuada Day Celebration

The Special Assistant to Ondo State Governor on Emergency Response, Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, chaired the Isuada Day Celebration held on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at L.A Primary School, Isuada Owo local government area of Ondo state.

The event was a significant milestone for the community, and Hon. Adebawo’s presence underscored the state government’s commitment to engaging with local communities.

In his remarks, Hon. Adebawo conveyed the regards of the state government to the community and assured them that their concerns and requests would be tabled before the government. This assurance was met with enthusiasm from the community, who have been seeking greater support from the state government to attend to their road, provide more social amenities, give tangible assistance to farmers among others.

Earlier, the Asuada of Isuada Land, His Royal Majesty Oba Joel Oluwafemi, the Adeluwoye II, welcomed Hon. Adebawo and expressed his gratitude for accepting the invitation to chair the occasion. Oba Adeluwoye also thanked Hon. Adebawo for acceding to their request to participate in a good cause to develop the community.

The Isuada Day Celebration was attended by several dignitaries, including the representative of Ondo State Deputy Governor, Dr. Olayide Adelami, mni. Other notable attendees included Ojomo Oluda of Ijebu, Alale Ule of Ilale, Olose of Ose-Owo, and other high chiefs.

During the celebration, there was a vibrant display of the community’s culture and traditions. The event featured various performances, including music and dance, which Hon. Adebawo also joined the people to dance.
