Engr. Olawoye Hits the Ground Running, Inspects Ongoing Flyover Project
Barely hours after officially assuming office today, the newly inaugurated Ondo State Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye FNSE, FNICE, has commenced field assessment with a visit to the site of the ongoing Onyarubulem Overhead Bridge project. The inspection was aimed at evaluating the pace and quality of work being executed under the current administration’s infrastructure renewal drive.
Accompanied by a team of directors and technical experts from the Ministry of Infrastructure, Engr. Olawoye reaffirmed the government’s zero tolerance for substandard construction practices. He stressed that all projects under his watch must conform strictly to established engineering standards, professional ethics, and regulatory guidelines. According to him, ensuring structural integrity and long-term value is non-negotiable in the execution of government projects.
While addressing the project team, Engr. Olawoye reiterated his commitment to actualizing Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa’s sustainable infrastructure development agenda. He assured that his leadership will foster a professional, collaborative, and accountable work environment; one that enables every stakeholder to contribute meaningfully to the governor’s vision of building a stronger and more resilient Ondo State.
