APC clears 16 Ondo senatorial aspirants ahead of Monday election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has screened and cleared 16 senatorial aspirants from Ondo State ahead of the party’s election scheduled for Monday.

According to a document obtained by The Hope, all aspirants across the state’s three senatorial districts successfully passed the screening process conducted by the party’s committee.

In Ondo North Senatorial District, the cleared aspirants include Alexander Oluremi Ayipe, Senator Olajide Emmanuel Ipinsagba, Hon. Adejoro Adeogun, Michael Abayomi Adeyanju, and Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye.

For Ondo Central Senatorial District, the party approved the candidacies of Senator Adeniyi A. Adebomire, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, and Slyvester Muyiwa Adu.

In Ondo South Senatorial District, those cleared are Princess Carthrina, Akinfolarin Mayo Samuel, Barr. Morayo Lebi, Akinboye Taiwo, Rt. Hon. Jumoke Akindele, Hon. Dr D.I. Kekemeke, H.E. Ajayi Alfred Agboola, and Abdul Mohammed Adetunyi.

The document further revealed that all 16 aspirants received a “cleared” status following the completion of the screening exercise by the APC.
