Air Crash Update: Ondo Govt Mobilises Support for Rescue Operation.*
In line with the directive of the Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, the state government has mobilised equipment and personnel to complement the ongoing rescue efforts by key federal agencies and military formations at the Nigerian Air Force crash site in Igbokoda, Ilaje Local Government Area.
The Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Abiola Ayorinde Olawoye, has deployed amphibious equipment and personnel to facilitate access to the difficult terrain.
The Commissioners for Health and Environment, alongside personnel of the Ondo State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), are also supporting the medical, environmental and emergency response efforts at the scene.
The state government remains committed to providing all necessary support to the federal and military responders as the operation continues.
