AKOKO NORTH EAST CHAMPIONS CLIMATE EDUCATION SETS TO DISTRIBUTE LEARNING MATERIALS TO STUDENTS

Theme: “From Break to Brilliance”

Akoko North East Local Government is set to empower over 5,000 students through a new initiative themed “From Break to Brilliance.”  The project will combine climate education with the planned distribution of essential learning materials, ensuring that students are better equipped for both academic and environmental challenges.

The project, sponsored by the Local Government Chairman and to be implemented by EduMinds Africa, will provide students with writing materials like:

📚 Exercise books
🎒 School bags
💧 Reusable bottles
🖊️ Pens

Also, Climate change awareness sessions to promote environmental sustainability.

According to the Chairman of Akoko North East, Hon. Muhammed Mutiu Olawale, He said

“Too many of our students struggle without the basic tools they need to learn and grow. We cannot afford to let them face these challenges alone. This project is our commitment to stand with them and help turn their struggles into strength.”

The Founder of EduMinds Africa, Motunrayo Oyedele also added:

“At EduMinds Africa, we believe no child should be limited by circumstances. This project is our way of guiding students from break to brilliance, helping them see that their tomorrow holds endless possibilities”

This project highlights the strength of government–civil society collaboration in driving Quality Education (SDG 4) and Climate Action (SDG 13) in Ondo State.
