Police Neutralized Six Militia, Apprehend Cattle Rustler, Kidnapper
Six MILITIAs have been killed in their hideouts in Logo local government area of Benue by men of Operation Zenda, a joint police operative on the 27th of July, 2024. Police operative also nabbed a wanted kidnapper and cattle RUSTLER, in Keana local government of Nassarawa State.
The State Public Relations Officer, SP Catherine Anene, who briefed newsmen during parade of arrested suspects at the command headquarters in Makurdi says a suspected highway robber and a native doctor who fortifies them before operation was also arrested.
SP Anene, who disclosed that all the suspects will be prosecuted according to law after investigation, says the police is on the trail of those at large and assured they will be brought to book. Items recovered from the suspects are Ak 47 rifle, ammunition, charms among many others.
The suspects during interview confessed to their crimes except the native doctor who absolve self of any crime.
