Police Arrests Notorious Kidnap Suspect, Rescue Victim
The police in Anambra says it has arrested a notorious suspected kidnapper, while.also rescuing an high profile victim who was abducted over a week ago.
The command in a statement by its spokesperson Tochukwu Ikenga made available to newsmen, said the suspect was arrested through a combined team of policemen, military and local vigilante group at Umuduru community in ihiala local government area of the state.
The kidnap suspect according to the police who did not disclose his identity for security reasons, have been on the wanted list of the command for involving in major kidnap cases across the state.
The high profile rescued victim has been reunited with his family, while the suspect is said to be helping to track other members of his gang who are at large.
The Anambra police commissioner CP Nnaghe Obono, promised to parade the suspect at a later date after the conclusion of investigation, while promising to take the fight to the criminals in their hideouts across the state.
