Ondo 2024: Shun Vote Selling, Elect a Credible Candidate – Alli

In a strong call to action ahead of the November 16 Gubernatorial Election, Babatunde Francis Alli, the Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), has urged the citizens of Ondo State to reject all forms of voter manipulation, including vote-buying, and instead elect a candidate and political platform that truly represent the people’s interests.

Speaking at the Chronicles Magazine 11th Anniversary and Award Ceremony, Alli expressed deep concern over the persistent underdevelopment in Ondo State, particularly in neglected areas like Ose Local Government. His firsthand experience during his campaign tour revealed the severe state of insecurity and infrastructural decay in these regions, underscoring the urgent need for a government that prioritizes the welfare and security of its people.

Alli emphasized the importance of scrutinizing the manifestos of all candidates, urging voters to choose wisely on Election Day. He called for an end to voter apathy and vote-selling, encouraging the electorate to make informed decisions that reflect the pressing needs of the state.

Additionally, Alli commended Chronicles Magazine for its dedication to providing reliable information to the people of Ondo State over the past 11 years. He highlighted the critical role of informed voting and credible journalism in shaping a prosperous future for the state.
