How Friend Allegedly Kidnapped, Murdered Varsity Student after Collecting

A 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Christianah Idowu, was allegedly killed by a friend, Adeleye Ayomide, after a ransom was collected from her parents.

According to reports, Christianah had left her home in the Itaoluwo area of Ikorodu to head to the University of Lagos for her industrial training when she was abducted along the Ikorodu-Yaba road.

The kidnappers contacted her family and demanded a ransom of N3 million for her release.

A social media personality, known as Man of Letter (@LettertoJack), confirmed the tragic news, stating that Christianah had been abducted and murdered by her friend, Adeleye Ayomide, a 200-level student of Philosophy at Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Adeleye is alleged to have killed Christianah and buried her in his father’s compound after receiving N350,000 from her family.

He is also accused of previously killing his ex-girlfriend and his sister.
