Hon. ETA Felicitates Muslims on Eid-Ul-Mawlid
High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle, the Sasere Iselu of Owo Kingdom, has extended his warm greetings to the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Ul-Mawlid. In his message, he wished Muslims a joyous and peaceful celebration as they commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Hon. Adekunle emphasized the significance of the Prophet’s teachings, urging Muslims to embody the virtues of compassion, kindness, and tolerance exemplified by Prophet Muhammad. He stated, “This occasion is a reminder for all to live by the teachings of the Prophet, fostering peace and unity in our communities.”
In his goodwill message, the High Chief called on Muslims to use the celebration as an opportunity for reflection and to renew their commitment to the values of love and mutual respect. He encouraged them to continue living in harmony with people of different faiths, thereby contributing to a peaceful society.
Hon. Adekunle concluded by wishing the Muslim community in Owo Kingdom and beyond a blessed Eid-Ul-Mawlid. He prayed for the Almighty’s blessings on their lives and urged them to remain steadfast in their faith and in the pursuit of a better and more inclusive society.
