Ondo State Association for the Physically Challenged Adopts PRP, Commends BFA’s Crusade for Good Governance

The Ondo State Association for the Physically Challenged has formally endorsed the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) for the upcoming 2024 gubernatorial election.

The announcement came during a meeting held on Wednesday 16th of October 2024, where the association commended the PRP’s gubernatorial candidate, Comrd. Babatunde Francis Alli (BFA), for his relentless crusade for good governance and inclusivity in the state.

The association’s leadership, led by its chairman, Abiodun Samuel Olusegun, presented the candidate with the Ondo State Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) Charter of Demands, outlining the needs and aspirations of the community.

During the meeting, Abiodun Samuel praised BFA’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by physically challenged individuals in Ondo State, highlighting his advocacy for equal opportunities and accessible public services. “BFA has shown through his actions and words that he is a man of the people, and we believe that under his leadership, the rights and welfare of the physically challenged will be prioritized,” Samuel said. The association stressed the need for policies that would promote inclusivity, accessibility, and economic empowerment for people with disabilities in Ondo State.

In response, BFA expressed his gratitude to the association for their support and assured them of his commitment to addressing the issues raised in the charter. He emphasized that his administration, if elected, would implement policies aimed at improving the quality of life for physically challenged individuals and ensuring they are fully integrated into the state’s development plans. “We will make sure that everyone, regardless of their physical condition, has access to opportunities and the support they need to thrive,” BFA promised.
