Ondo Special Assistant on Emergency Response, Hon. Wellington Adebawo Saves School Children from Drunk Tricycle Driver

In a daring rescue operation, Hon. Adebawo Wellington, Special Adssistant on Emergency Response to Ondo State Governor alongside his team saved a group of school children from a drunk tricycle driver in Ondo town, Ondo West Local Government Area of the State.

The incident occurred in front of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo where the tricycle driver, under the influence of alcohol, lost control of his vehicle while transporting the children.

The quick thinking and bravery of Hon. Adebawo and his team averted a catastrophe as the children were rescued and taken to safe environment. The team’s selfless act prevented what could have been a tragic accident, earning them heroic praise.

Hon. Adebawo cautioned tricycle drivers to drive safely and responsibly, respecting other road users. “Driving under the influence of alcohol or driving recklessly is unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” he emphasized.

The Special Assistant also reminded tricycle drivers to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, promoting courteous behavior towards other road users. This warning is part of a broader effort to improve road safety in Ondo State, with Hon. Adebawo’s team working closely with law enforcement agencies to hold accountable those who endanger lives on the road.
