Court adjourns Appeal filed by Senator Godswill Akpabio

The Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has adjourned the Appeal filed by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio’s, seeking to halt the Federal High Court’s hearing of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, challenging her suspension.

Akpabio had approached the Appellant court to contest an interlocutory ruling delivered by the Federal High Court on March the 10th

However, the hearing was stalled following the late submission of a counter-process by Akpoti-Uduaghan’s legal team, in line with court procedures.

With both sides now ready to present their arguments, the case will now resume on April the 7th.
