High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle Congratulates Olowo on Appointment


High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle, the Sasere Iselu of Owo Kingdom, has congratulated the Olowo of Owo, Oba Dr. Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, on his appointment as the Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas. In a statement issued on Saturday, Chief Adekunle described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of the monarch’s wisdom, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the progress of traditional institutions in Ondo State. 

He commended Oba Ogunoye for his outstanding contributions to peace, development, and cultural preservation in Owo and across the state. According to him, the Olowo’s leadership has not only strengthened the traditional council but has also enhanced unity among royal fathers in the state. He expressed confidence that Olowo will bring a new wave of innovation and stability to the council in his new role. 

“The Olowo has consistently demonstrated rare leadership qualities and a deep understanding of traditional values. His commitment to the growth of Owo Kingdom and Ondo State as a whole is evident in his numerous initiatives that have empowered people and preserved our heritage,” Chief Adekunle said. He added that the entire Owo Kingdom is proud to see one of its own take on such a prestigious and influential role. 

High Chief Adekunle prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Olowo as he leads the council of Obas. He urged all traditional rulers in the state to support the Olowo in his new assignment and work together for the peace and advancement of Ondo State.
