Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Aide, Hon. Wellington Adebawo in Partnership with Health Emergency Initiative Set to Train 150 Ondo State Residents on Rescuing Medical Emergency Victims




In a bid to strengthen emergency response services in Ondo State, the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo has partnered with the Health Emergency Initiative (HEI) to organize a First Responder Training Programme. The programme scheduled to hold on April 8 to 10, 2025, at ODIRS Hall, Igbatoro Road, Akure, aims to equip 150 residents of Ondo State with the necessary skills to rescue victims of medical emergencies.

The training programme is in line with Governor Aiyedatiwa administration’s commitment to enhancing the welfare and safety of the people of Ondo State. Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, believes that this initiative will contribute significantly to improving emergency response services in the state.

The First Responder Training Programme is designed to provide participants with the skills and knowledge needed to respond effectively in emergency situations. The programme will cover topics such as basic life support, emergency medical response, and crisis management.

The partnership between the Office of the Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response and the Health Emergency Initiative (HEI) demonstrates the commitment of the Ondo State government to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its citizens.

The programme is expected to have a positive impact on the state’s emergency response services, and participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference in their communities.
