Hon. Adeola Pledges Enabling Environment as Ondo RATTAWU Visits Akure South Council, Seeks Collaboration


The Secretary to Akure South Local Government, Hon. Adeola Fynch, has reiterated her commitment to creating an enabling environment for unions and organizations within the local government. She emphasized that this aligns with the vision of the Hon. Gbenga Fasua-led administration, which is focused on fostering inclusive development and supporting initiatives that benefit residents of Akure South.

Hon. Adeola made this known while receiving members of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers’ Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU), Ondo State branch, who paid her a courtesy visit in her office. The union representatives sought  collaboration and support for their upcoming stage performance of Wole Soyinka’s The Lion and the Jewel, aimed at promoting literary appreciation among Literature in English students across the state.

While commending the creativity and educational value of the initiative, Hon. Adeola applauded RATTAWU’s dedication to the arts and pledged support for the project. She noted that cultural and educational programs such as this play an essential role in shaping society and empowering young minds.
