Ondo Engineers Hail Gov. Aiyedatiwa’s Infrastructure Drive, Describe Engr. Olawoye’s Appointment as Well-Deserved

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Akure Branch, has commended the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for his visionary approach to infrastructure development across the state.

During a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye FNSE, the association lauded the administration’s commitment to sustainable and people-centered infrastructure projects.

Led by its chairman, Engr. Oluwaseun David, the NSE executives noted that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration has repositioned the infrastructural outlook of Ondo State, making strategic investments in critical sectors. They further described the appointment of Engr. Olawoye as a well-thought-out decision, calling it “a round peg in a round hole” given his professional pedigree and track record of excellence.

In his response, Engr. Olawoye expressed heartfelt appreciation to his professional colleagues, describing their visit as both humbling and inspiring. He emphasized the governor’s unwavering resolve to deliver legacy projects that will stand the test of time and assured the NSE of continued collaboration and engagement.

He further reiterated the government’s openness to working with professional bodies and experts to ensure that infrastructure development in Ondo State meets global best practices. “With our collective efforts, we will deliver on the sustainable infrastructure development mandate of this administration,” he added.
