Eid-ul-Adha: Hon. Ogunmolasuyi Greets Muslim Faithful, Affirms Commitment to Inclusive Governance
As Muslims across the world mark the auspicious celebration of Eid-ul-Adha, the Honourable Member representing Owo Constituency 1 and outgoing Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim community in Ondo State and beyond.
In a statement released today, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi described Eid-ul-Adha as a moment of deep reflection, sacrifice, faith, and unity. He urged Muslims to draw strength from the life of Prophet Ibrahim, whose unwavering obedience and commitment to God’s will remain a model of devotion and humility.
“On this holy occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in Owo, across Ondo State, and throughout Nigeria. Your steadfast faith and your contributions to community development, peacebuilding, and harmony are deeply appreciated. May Allah accept your prayers, sacrifices, and acts of charity,” he said.
Hon. Ogunmolasuyi reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive representation, noting that his legislative efforts have always been driven by the principle of fairness to all constituents regardless of faith, background, or political affiliation. “As a public servant, I remain committed to promoting inclusive governance that reflects the diversity and aspirations of our people. Our communities are stronger when we unite across religious and ethnic lines to pursue a common goal of peace, development, and prosperity,” he emphasized.
The lawmaker also praised the resilience and patriotism of Muslim leaders in Ondo State, including traditional and spiritual figures, for promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual respect.
He concluded by urging all citizens to use this festive period to show love to one another, support the vulnerable, and pray for continued peace and progress in the state and Nigeria at large. “Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. May this celebration bring joy to your homes and peace to our land,” Hon. Ogunmolasuyi stated.
