Mikey Olakunle Declares for House of Reps, Pledges People-Centered Representation for Akure South/North

Fellow citizens of Akure South and North,

After deep reflection, wide consultations with family, stakeholders, community leaders, party members, and the good people of our constituency, I, Hon. MICHAEL AFOLABI OLAKUNLE (MIKEY], hereby formally declare my intention to seek election into the House of Representatives to represent the good people of Akure South/North Federal Constituency in the forthcoming general elections.

This decision is born out of a sincere commitment to serve, to give voice to the aspirations of our people, and to bring about purposeful, people-centered representation that prioritizes development, youth empowerment, quality education, healthcare, infrastructure, and inclusive economic opportunities.

Akure deserves more. Our constituency, rich in human capital and blessed with natural resources, must not be left behind in the national conversation. I am stepping forward with a renewed vision — one anchored on transparency, accountability, grassroots engagement, and legislative excellence.
