**Makinde Declares 2027 Presidential Ambition, Promises National Reset**

Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has officially announced his intention to contest the 2027 presidential election, becoming one of the early entrants into the race.

Makinde made the declaration on Thursday during a joint mega rally organised by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
