FUTA TO HONOR ODSUBEB BOSS, OLABIMTAN WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE IN PUBLIC EDUCATION ADMINISTRATION

…in recognition of his outstanding contributions to educational development.

Baring any change in plans, the main Auditorium of the Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA, this Thursday will be playing host to who is who from all walks of life as the University’s confers various awards on distinguished personalities who have contributed meaningfully to the development of the society .

One of the distinguished awardees is the Executive Chairman of Ondo State Universal Basic Education Board ODSUBEB, Rt Hon  Victor Adekanye Olabimtan who is to be conferred with the most prestigious Award of Excellence in Public education Administration in Ondo State.

According to the University, the award  is in recognition of Rt. Hon. Olabimtan’s outstanding contributions to the development of Public education especially at the basic level.

A man of humble beginnings and determination and hard word with touch of divine grace here and there got to the heights of political leadership in Ondo. 

Before his forage in the murky water of Ondo State politics and Nigeria at Large, the Supare Akoko born politician started his public service career as a teacher, became a Principal, education administrator and Speaker Ondo State House of Assembly.

His trajectory of public service continued as Executive Chairman Ondo State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM , member Federal Civil Service Commission, Abuja representing the good people of Ondo , Ekiti and Edo States before his current appointment as  the Chief Executive Officer,CEO, ODSUBEB.

Testimonials of those who had came across him gave credence to his humanity as a man of the people has used his positions to serve humanity and community by touching lives in remarkable ways hence he is well loved across the State especially by kinsmen from the Northern Senatorial District of the State.  

Under his watch, ODSUBEB is thriving, and the basic education sector in Ondo State is undergoing a remarkable transformation.

All these achievements ODSUBEB boss attributed to the unalloyed support and encouragement of the State Governor Dr Lucky Orisimisan Aiyedatiwa.
