Two Individuals Died in Anthony Joshua Acc+dent Were Foreign Nationals

The Ogun State Government has expressed deep condolences to the families, friends and associates of victims of a tragic road accident involving world heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua, who narrowly escaped d+ath on Monday.

The fatal cr+sh occurred along the busy Lagos–Ibadan Expressway around the Makun axis of the state and claimed the lives of two persons.  Joshua was reportedly travelling from Lagos to Sagamu with three other individuals when the incident happened.

According to preliminary findings, the deceased were two male foreign nationals who died instantly at the scene. Their bodies have been deposited at the Livewell Morgue in Sagamu.  Joshua and the driver of the vehicle were rescued by security operatives attached to his convoy and rushed to a hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment.
