OGO SALUTES ONDO STATE AT 50: A GOLDEN JUBILEE OF HERITAGE, PROGRESS AND HOPE
At 50, Ondo State stands tall as a testament to the labour of visionary leaders, the sacrifices of selfless patriots, and the enduring resilience of her people. As a proud son of this great state, I join millions of Ondo indigenes at home and in the diaspora to celebrate our Golden Jubilee, a milestone that reflects how far we have journeyed from our humble beginnings to a state rich in culture, intellect, enterprise, and promise.
This celebration offers us the opportunity to honour the solid foundations laid by our past leaders, appreciate the progress recorded in the present, and renew our faith in the boundless possibilities of the future. Ondo State’s story is one of courage, industry, and unity of purpose, driven by a people who have consistently chosen hope over despair and progress over stagnation. we must therefore cherish our history while boldly shaping the road ahead.
As we mark this Golden Jubilee, I reaffirm my personal and unwavering commitment to the continued growth, unity, and prosperity of Ondo State. Together, through collective responsibility, visionary leadership, and people-focused governance, we will build a stronger Ondo State that delivers opportunities for all and secures a brighter future for generations yet unborn.
I also specially commend and salute the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whose visionary leadership continues to redefine governance and development in our dear state. As the architect of the modern Ondo State, his administration has placed people at the heart of progress, prioritising infrastructure, economic growth, and social stability across all zones. Under his steady hands, Ondo State is not only celebrating 50 years of existence but confidently charting a new course toward a future of shared prosperity and sustainable development.
