The Ondo State Government has launched an Emergency Youth Call Center to strengthen youth participation and deepen citizen engagement in governance across the state.
The initiative, led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Empowerment and Job Creation, Amb. Orioye Benedict Gbayisemore, is designed to provide a direct platform for young people and residents to share vital information, contribute ideas, and raise concerns with the government.
Speaking at the launch, Amb. Gbayisemore explained that the call center is staffed by trained young professionals who receive calls, document key issues, and relay observations to relevant government agencies for prompt action. He noted that the initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to inclusive governance and responsive leadership.
“The Emergency Youth Call Center is a bridge between the government and the people, especially young people who want to contribute meaningfully to governance and community development,” he said.
The Ondo State Government has encouraged youths and citizens across the state to take advantage of the platform to engage with government, contribute to decision-making, and make their voices heard in building a safer and more responsive state.
The Emergency Youth Call Center will operate from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily, and can be reached via 02012296394.
The initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to empower young people, promote transparency, and strengthen citizen-driven governance in Ondo State.
