In a commendable act of generosity and community service, Seun Osamaye, Special Adviser on Women Affairs to the Ondo State Governor, successfully organized a “Feed the Elderly” program in Ifedore Local Government. The initiative catered to 500 elderly women, all aged 60 and above, providing them with meals and a sense of community support. The event, held with impressive turnout despite short notice, highlighted the significance of caring for senior citizens.
Osamaye expressed that the senior citizens are an integral part of society and emphasized the moral duty to look after their well-being. She mentioned, “We have a moral duty to look after their well-being and check on them from time to time.” The program was seen as an appreciation to God Almighty for His benevolence and a gesture of gratitude to the Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for appointing her as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs.
The success of the event underscored the need to prioritize the welfare of the elderly, a lesson Osamaye took to heart from the experience. She thanked her supporters and collaborators, noting the importance of giving back to the community. “The turnout was impressive at short notice. The experience has taught us the need to prioritize their welfare,” she said, reflecting on the day’s achievements.

She stated, “I thank my sisters for their compliments, we have made a decision to bless humanity with our substance and that we will always do! To God Alone Be All The Glory!” The event was not only a demonstration of compassion but also a call to action for others to support the elderly in their communities.
