ONDO STATE SSA ON STUDENTS AFFAIRS DONATES ₦1 MILLION TO EMPOWER STUDENTS AT DHDEI SYMPOSIUM
The Senior Special Assistant on Student Affairs to the Ondo State Governor has donated ₦1 million to the Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI), a registered NGO in Nigeria, focused on empowering students, youth, and communities. The donation was made during the Student Empowerment Symposium at the Music Department Hall, Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo. Themed “Building Employable Skills as an Undergraduate; Prepare for the Nigerian Market,” the symposium aimed to equip students with essential skills for today’s job market.
The SSA, Hon. Kevin Solomon Olaolu, shared his personal story of acquiring ICT certifications before university, which helped him secure employment post-graduation. He emphasized the importance of practical skills alongside academic qualifications.
The donation recognizes DHDEI’s efforts in providing essential skills training to students. Hon. Olaolu praised the organization’s dedication and encouraged students to take full advantage of the training programs, reaffirming the government’s commitment to youth and students skill development.
