Ondo 2024: Prioritize Peace, Deliver Massive Votes for Gov. Aiyedatiwa, Ogundare Appeals to Electorate
Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has called on voters to come out in large numbers on Saturday, November 16, 2024, to support the party’s candidate, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and his running mate, Chief Olayide Adelami Mni. The appeal was made after the official APC campaign Grand finale held on Wednesday, November 13, in Akure, the state capital.
Ogundare, a former House of Representatives candidate, encouraged the electorate to stand firmly behind Aiyedatiwa, describing the vote as crucial to the state’s future. Addressing news men after the event, Ogundare urged the people of Ondo State to ensure their votes count by fully participating in the election. “Let us come out in full force on Saturday to support our great party, the APC, and secure a brighter future for our state. Remember, your vote is your choice, so make it count,” he stated. His words aimed to galvanize support for the ruling party, emphasizing that a massive turnout would signify the public’s commitment to the APC’s vision for the state.
Ogundare further appealed for a peaceful voting process, emphasizing the importance of abiding by the regulations set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and respecting instructions from security personnel. He encouraged voters to embrace calm and avoid any actions that could disrupt the exercise. “Let’s ensure a peaceful process by respecting all election guidelines and shun violence for a smooth, fair election,” Ogundare advised, stressing that a peaceful election was essential for a credible outcome.
With confidence in his party’s chances, Ogundare expressed optimism about a decisive victory for the APC. He believes that strong turnout and support from the electorate will lead to a clear mandate for Aiyedatiwa and Adelami to continue the development agenda in Ondo State.
