CHRISTMAS: ‘EMBRACE SERVICE TO HUMANITY’, ODIMAYO URGES CHRISTIANS
As Christians celebrate Christmas worldwide, the Chairman of the House Committee on Population and Member representing Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency, Omo’ba Okunjimi Odimayo, has called on Nigerians to embrace the spirit of Christmas by rededicating themselves to the service of humanity.
In a goodwill message to the Christian community, Odimayo urged his constituents and all Nigerians to reflect on the virtues of love, compassion, and selflessness exemplified by Jesus Christ.
He emphasized that Christmas is not just a season of celebration but also a time to extend kindness to the less privileged and foster unity among diverse communities.

“Christmas reminds us of the need to prioritize the welfare of others above personal gains. As we celebrate, let us take deliberate steps to touch lives, promote peace, and support one another, especially during these challenging times,” Odimayo said.
The lawmaker commended the resilience and patience of Nigerians amidst economic reforms, reiterating his unwavering commitment to empowering the people of Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency highlighting the ongoing developmental projects in the constituency as part of his efforts to improve living standards.
Odimayo further urged citizens to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to transform the nation through inclusive growth and social investment.
“As we celebrate, let us pray for our leaders and our great nation, that we may all rise together towards prosperity,” Odimayo remarked.
He wished Nigerians a joyous Christmas and a prosperous New Year in advance.
