In a move to strengthen emergency response in Ondo State, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response, Hon. (Prince) Wellington Oriade Adebawo, has assured Ondo State residents of the state government’s commitment to reviving the state Fire Service and Emergency Medical Agency in no distant time.
According to Hon. Adebawo, the revival of the state Fire Service and Emergency Medical Agency is a top priority for the state government. He noted that the state government is committed to ensuring that residents have access to timely and effective emergency response services.

He said that Ondo state government’s commitment to enhancing emergency response in the state is evident in the previous efforts, including the visit to accident victims and assurance of proper medical care.
In addition to reviving the state fire service, Hon. Adebawo also assured residents that the state government will revive the Emergency Medical Agency, which provides emergency medical services to residents, including ambulance services and emergency medical care.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Emergency Response said while he looks forward to having partnership with relevant bodies, he alongside other government agencies have continue to make efforts to enhance emergency response in the state, stressing his working relationship with National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) which he said have continued to strengthen emergency response in the state.
