Meet Ondo South Representative of the Nigeria Youth Parliament; Morayo Itiolu
Morayo Josephine Itiolu, a passionate advocate for youth and women’s empowerment, hails from Ikoya in Okitipupa Local Government of Ondo State. Her journey began in Ibadan, where she had her early education at Victory International Nursery and Primary School, Apata, Ibadan.
With an unwavering commitment to advocacy, particularly for the girl child, Morayo has dedicated herself to initiatives that promote education, health, and gender equality. Her recent inauguration as the Honourable Member of the Nigerian Youth Parliament representing the Ondo South Senatorial District stands as a testament to her dedication to youth representation and development.
Morayo pursued higher education at the prestigious Lead City University, Ibadan, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. During her time at the university, she actively participated in student leadership, serving as a student ambassador and an assistant course representative for her set.

Her passion for leadership and community service is evident in her active involvement in various organizations. She is a member of the Young Africa Leaders Initiative (Ondo Hub), where she served as the Health Team Lead for two tenures. She also leads as the Team Lead at My Gender My Pride Girls Child Initiative and volunteers with organizations such as the Safe Future Foundation and Chriscares Ayebusiwa Empowerment Foundation.
In addition to her numerous advocacy roles, Morayo serves in governmental capacities, contributing to policy formulation and grassroots mobilization. She holds the position of Special Assistant on Women and Girls’ Child Affairs to the Member of the House of Assembly representing Okitipupa Constituency 1. Furthermore, she plays a key role in state mobilization as a Special Assistant on Mobilization to the Ondo State Governor.
Morayo Itiolu remains steadfast in her commitment to youth development, gender equality, and public health, continually striving to create a positive impact in her community and beyond.
