COYCO Backs High Chief Bamidele Omosehin for Abuja Representation
The Coalition of Ondo Youth and Community Organizations (COYCO) has officially thrown its weight behind High Chief Bamidele Omosehin, endorsing him as their preferred candidate for national representation in the 2027 elections.
At a well-attended gathering in Okitipupa, youth leaders, community stakeholders, and grassroots mobilizers came together to declare their collective support for Omosehin, citing his unparalleled dedication to youth empowerment, community development, and economic growth in Ondo South.
Speaking at the endorsement event, Comrade Olafeso Oladipupo, Convener and Executive Director of COYCO, emphasized that the coalition’s mission has always been to ensure that only credible, competent, and people-focused leaders emerge to represent Ondo South.

“For years, COYCO has been dedicated to advocating for youth inclusion in governance, economic development, and community progress. We have critically examined the antecedents of various leaders, and High Chief Bamidele Omosehin stands out as a man of integrity, vision, and action,” Oladipupo stated.
He highlighted Omosehin’s extensive contributions to society through his philanthropic initiatives, including:
Educational Scholarships – Sponsoring students from Ondo South to access quality education.
Youth Empowerment & Skills Training – Providing young people with financial support, vocational training, and job placements.
Community Development Projects – Investing in infrastructure, electricity, and road rehabilitation to uplift communities.
Humanitarian & Social Welfare Support – Assisting widows, the elderly, and underprivileged families across Ondo South.
COYCO’s endorsement of Bamidele Omosehin is more than just a political declaration; it is a strategic call to action for all well-meaning youths, community leaders, and progressive minds in Ondo South to rally behind a candidate who has consistently prioritized the well-being of the people.
“We cannot afford to entrust our future to leaders who lack empathy and commitment. We need a representative who understands our struggles, who has actively invested in our growth, and who will champion our cause at the national level. High Chief Bamidele Omosehin has demonstrated time and again that he is that leader,” Oladipupo affirmed.
The coalition pledged to mobilize massive grassroots support across the six local government areas of Ondo South, ensuring that Bamidele Omosehin’s vision for progress, unity, and prosperity becomes a reality.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, Omosehin’s growing support base signals a shift towards leadership that is truly accountable, transparent, and development-driven. With the backing of COYCO and other stakeholders, he is poised to emerge as the people’s choice for effective and impactful representation in Abuja.
