NULGE Akure South Executives Pay Courtesy Visit to LG Secretary, Pledge Support
The executive members of the Akure South Local Government chapter of the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary of the Local Government, Mrs. Adeola Fynch, on Tuesday, 18th March 2024. The visit was aimed at fostering a collaborative relationship between the union and the local government leadership to enhance workers’ welfare and overall development in the council area.
During the meeting, the NULGE executives expressed their support for Mrs. Adeola, as the Executive Secretary, pledging to work hand in hand with her to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment. They emphasized the importance of cooperation between the leadership and employees in achieving the developmental goals of Akure South Local Government.
In response, Mrs. Adeola appreciated the NULGE executives for their visit and their commitment to supporting the Hon. Gbenga Fasua led administration. She reiterated her dedication to the vision of the local government chairman, assuring them that workers’ welfare remains a priority. She further stated that she would continue to pursue initiatives that promote the growth and development of Akure South without sidelining the workforce.
