PDP Governors Appoint Ikpeazu to Saraki-led 7-Man Committee Ahead of Crucial NEC Meeting

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum has appointed former Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, as a member of a 7-man ad hoc committee chaired by former Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki. The committee is tasked with ensuring a rancour-free National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting scheduled for May 27, 2027.This decision was among the resolutions reached at a strategic meeting of the PDP Governors Forum held at the Bauchi Governor’s Lodge. The meeting was attended by serving and former PDP governors.The Saraki-led committee has the mandate to facilitate a smooth and unified NEC meeting and to make preparations ahead of the party’s forthcoming national convention.Other members of the committee include Governors Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), and Peter Mbah (Enugu), alongside former Bayelsa Governor, Senator Seriake Dickson, and former Gombe Governor, Senator Ibrahim Dankwambo.
