Commissioner Nomination: Engr. Ayorinde Olawoye Set for Screening Today

Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye, FNSE, FNICE, a nominated commissioner designate in Ondo State, is scheduled to appear before the State House of Assembly today for official screening. His nomination by Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has drawn commendation from stakeholders, especially within the engineering and infrastructure development sectors, where Engr. Olawoye is widely respected.

With over 15 years of professional experience in civil engineering, policy formulation, and infrastructure delivery, Engr. Olawoye brings a wealth of expertise to the cabinet. He currently serves as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, where he has provided strategic leadership on several road, drainage, and public facility projects across the state. A native of Ondo West Local Government Area, his career is marked by technical excellence, professional acumen, and a commitment to sustainable development.

An alumnus of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, The Polytechnic Ibadan, and the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Engr. Olawoye is a registered COREN engineer and a Fellow of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE) and the Nigerian Institution of Civil Engineers (FNICE). As he heads to the Assembly for screening, many see his nomination as a continuation of the administration’s focus on professionalism, competence, and purposeful governance.
