Engr. Ayorinde on Official Engagement as State Assembly Reschedules His Confirmation as Commissioner-Designate

Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye FNSE, FNICE, the Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, officially communicated his unavailability for the State House of Assembly plenary session slated for his confirmation as Commissioner-Designate. In a formal letter addressed to the Assembly and read during plenary by the Clerk of the House, Barr. Jaiyeola Benjamin, Engr. Olawoye requested permission to be absent due to an official engagement outside the country.

According to the letter, the official assignment is at the instance of the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The Clerk further announced that the House will reschedule a new date for Engr. Olawoye’s confirmation. The State Assembly acknowledged his service-driven absence and looks forward to his appearance at a later date to complete the constitutional process of his confirmation.

Engr. Olawoye, on Monday 23rd of June 2025, appeared before the House of Assembly Screening Committee and he is among the 16 commissioner nominees cleared for confirmation.
