BREAKING: Tinubu directs Keyamo, FAAN to halt cashless policy over airport gridlock
President Bola Tinubu has ordered the immediate suspension of the newly introduced cashless payment policy at airports across the country following widespread traffic congestion at entry gates.
The directive was issued to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The development comes just four days after the policy was implemented, a move that triggered severe gridlock at several major airports nationwide, leaving passengers stranded and causing significant disruptions to flight schedules.
