The Sasere Iselu of Owo Kingdom, High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle, popularly known as Hon. ETA, has extended warm congratulations to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, on his official inauguration as Chairman of the Ondo State Council of Obas.
In a goodwill message, Hon. ETA described the appointment as a historic and well-earned recognition of the Olowo’s impactful reign, which has consistently promoted peace, cultural preservation, and socio-economic progress in Owo and beyond. He noted that the traditional ruler’s deep wisdom and sense of purpose have made him a natural choice to lead the council at such a time.
According to Hon. ETA, the Olowo’s new position is not only a pride to the ancient town of Owo but also a beacon of hope for traditional institutions across the state. He expressed confidence that the monarch would bring his wealth of experience, dignity, and leadership to bear in steering the council toward unity and relevance in governance.
He prayed for a successful tenure for the Olowo as Chairman and urged other traditional rulers in the state to rally around him in the collective interest of preserving culture, promoting grassroots development, and supporting the progressive agenda of the Ondo State Government.
