Ondo 2024: Owo Agog as Hon. ETA, Hon. Suara Mobilize Support Group for Aiyedatiwa
The ancient town of Owo was a hub of political activity today, November 2, 2024, as support groups of Hon. Chief Mrs. Mobolaji Adejuyigbe, popularly known as Suara, and High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle, also known as Hon. ETA, gathered to rally support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
The event brought together the supporters of these political bigwigs from various wards and units across Owo, all united in their goal to ensure a strong turnout for Aiyedatiwa in the November 16 election.
The meeting, which featured speeches and strategic discussions, focused on mobilizing grassroots support and maximizing votes for Aiyedatiwa and his running mate, Chief Olayide Adelami. Both leaders emphasized the importance of unity and dedication to the APC’s vision for continued progress in Ondo State. “Owo is pivotal in this election, and we are here to reaffirm our commitment to deliver a resounding victory for Aiyedatiwa and the APC,” said Hon. ETA during his address, read by a leader of his support group.
Hon. Adejuyigbe, through her representative, encouraged the attendees to stay vigilant, educate their communities on voting procedures, and ensure that every vote counts. She highlighted the benefits the APC administration has brought to Owo, urging residents to keep supporting the party to sustain development efforts. “A vote for Aiyedatiwa is a vote for progress. Let’s make sure Owo stands strong for the APC,” Suara remarked.
The rally concluded with a pledge from the supporters to intensify door-to-door campaigns and mobilize even more residents in the days leading up to the election. As Owo remains a critical voting bloc, today’s gathering underscored the commitment of local leaders and grassroots organizations to securing a decisive win for Aiyedatiwa and maintaining APC leadership in Ondo State.
