Hon. ETA Condoles Muslim Community Over Demise of Ijebu Owo Chief Imam, Alhaji Aminullah Oluwajetemiodara

High Chief Emmanuel Taiwo Adekunle (Hon. ETA), the Sasere Iselu of Owo Kingdom, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Muslim community in Ondo State, particularly in Owo, following the passing of the Ijebu Owo Chief Imam, Alhaji Aminullah Oluwajetemiodara. In a statement released on Tuesday, Hon. ETA described the late Imam as a pillar of faith and an advocate for unity within the community.

Hon. ETA paid tribute to the life and legacy of Alhaji Aminullah, praising his steadfast commitment to the teachings of Islam and his role as a spiritual leader. “The late Chief Imam was a beacon of hope and a custodian of our shared faith. His life was dedicated to promoting peace, unity, and the moral values embedded in Islam,” he remarked. He added that Alhaji Aminullah was not only a religious leader but also a symbol of cohesion in the community, always working to bring people together regardless of their background.

In offering comfort to the grieving Muslim community, Hon. ETA quoted from the Qur’an, reminding them of Allah’s guidance in times of loss: “Every soul will taste death. And We test you with evil and with good as trial; and to Us you will be returned” (Qur’an 21:35). He urged the community to find solace in the fact that Alhaji Aminullah lived a life of service to Allah and humanity, a life that will continue to inspire many even in death.

The Sasere Iselu of Owo Kingdom called on the people of Owo and beyond to remember the Chief Imam’s teachings and emulate his unwavering dedication to peace and unity. “Let us honor his memory by continuing his mission of fostering harmony in our community. His legacy of tolerance and devotion to the Muslim faith will live on through all those he touched,” Hon. ETA said.
